Among the Sleep is a first person horror adventure game. The player is placed into the eyes of a two year old baby boy on a mysterious night where something dangerous is lurking within the house that he lives in. The player is tasked to find his mother before whatever is after the child is able to capture him. The game begins with the baby boy that the player will play as, celebrating his birthday with his mother. After a series of events, the boy will find himself in his room which is where a tutorial of the games mechanics will take place. This is also the location where you will meet your companion that will stand by you throughout the game, a talking teddy bear that goes by the name of Teddy. After eventually being put to sleep by your mother, you awake to a night of mystery as you embark on a quest through your house to find your lost mother.
