SteelSeries Siberia V3 Gaming Headset Review

RealGamerNewz - SteelSeries Siberia V3 Gaming Headset Review

Impressively high quality for a low price, the Sibera from SteelSeries is now one of the best headsets I own. Extreme comfort paired with one of the best noise cancelling ear pads at this price point go a long way to make this set special, but the microphone quality is where Siberia really stands apart from its competition. If you need to escape from the world around you, throw these on. If you need to do podcasting, create video content for YouTube, or just be heard clearly when gaming the Siberia’s microphone audio quality is almost indistinguishable from an entry-level professional desktop microphone that you may have seen professional YouTubers using. This blew me away and was not expected especially given how inexpensive SteelSeries have managed to make it. The fact the Siberia is capable of doing so well at this and remain cost effective is a real service to the gaming community.

Gioteck HC-2 Stereo Headset Review

HC2

The Gioteck HC-2 Stereo Headset is a cable connected PS4 compatible gaming headset. It features large padded over ear speakers, an adjustable headband, a retractable mic, volume control and a mute sliding bar.

Pros:

The HC-2 has clear surround sound audio with ample bass. Though it was made for the PS4 and Xbox One, it is also compatible with phones, tablets and PC, maintaining performance across devices. While playing The Evil Within, I was able to tell with greater distinction, the location of enemies by their breathing and footsteps as they moved nearer or further away. Which was convenient in maneuvering at better timed moments.

Cons:

Though at first the headset is very comfortable, it only remains so for a short time before the pressure turns painful. The mic movement is very stiff, perhaps in an attempt to prevent movement during use. However, this creates a weak spot in the bend at the base of the connection to the headset. Attempting to adjust the position of the mic while holding anything but the base will result in a crack or full on break.

Final Verdict:

Skip it!

While the performance of the HC-2 is good, I would not recommend it due to the fact that it isn’t likely to last very long. What is has in performance, it lacks in durability.

SteelSeries H Wireless Gaming Headset Review

H Wireless Gaming Headset Review

The first thing users experience when they put on a pair of SteelSeries H Wireless Gaming Headsets is the comfort level and flexibility of the accessory. Users can wear these over a hat comfortably. It becomes evidently clear upon getting your first listen that they also provide a great value for the sound quality and technical quality provided. The battery life is very good fresh out of the box, and holds up pretty well over the initial span of time they were tested through.
