Wreckfest Review

Wreckfest comes from Bugbear Entertainment, a developer that has been around for 16 years and is no stranger to making car games. They are the developer of FlatOut, FlatOut 2, and FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage. They also created Ridge Racer Unbounded as well. Wreckfest has come a long way since originally starting development in 2012 and marketing shortly thereafter as “The Next Car Game”.  The project gained much attention and Bugbear started off its release path on Steam Early Access with November 20, 2018 recently set as a release date for Xbox One and PS4.

Legend of Kay Anniversary Review – Platforming From the Days of Yore, Unwieldly Camera Included

The Legend of Kay is a game that is remembered by those who played it, especially on the PS2, as a cult classic of sorts; so much so that publisher Nordic Games had the game revamped for current generation consoles and PC in the form of The Legend of Kay Anniversary. Having never played the original, and barely even hearing of it; it’s no wonder I was going into this as a new experience rather than something I was already familiar with. Is it one of those classics that deserve to be remembered as one of the greats? Or is it one of those games that were probably better off being left untouched? This point and click adventure provides the punch in the chest, awesome introduction right from the start to get players off their feet and interested in the story it is about to unveil. After this crazy opening sequence which entails scrambling for what to do while falling from the sky, whether or not you’ve played the original, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 can most immediately be recognized for its very high quality voice acting and graphics. The title provides a handful of unique playable characters including Nate, Wilbur, Ivo, and Critter, and spans various time periods as multiple journeys and interconnected events are experienced throughout Aventásia.
