About RealGamerNewz

RealGamerNewz Car Jump

RealGamerNewz is a brand that was built on freedom of speech, brutal honesty, and an open-minded team covering a diverse section of topics and platforms. Forged out of molten lava itself, our brand started off as a rebel faction in the blogosphere that was able to overcome the strong arm of censorship that exists in every industry these days and just like a steel sword we are that much stronger for being birthed through fire.

The heat we generated when we first hit the scene with our floating brand podcast which was hosted on various high profile websites eventually demanded that a home for authors with a voice be protected from the politically correct and corporately controlled media outlets of today. RealGamerNewz.com was formed as a haven for those who want to bring the truth to light for gamers everywhere. Better yet, to admit when those truths have many ways of being interpreted, do the best job possible of showing multiple viewpoints, and to keep the spirit of video games strong.

Tiny Barbarian DX Post-Mortem Review

Tiny Barbarian DX

One of the best features of Tiny Barbarian DX is that the controls are very intuitive. When players hit a button, the game reacts as expected. It’s accurate, it’s smooth, and it’s fun to play. Graphically and in terms of gameplay Tiny Barbarian DX is heavily inspired by retro sidescrollers like Castlevania or Mega Man, and yet it manages to feel very polished and actually stand side by side with these titles visually. The tactile feel makes it easy to run through levels that are designed with just the right amount of challenge to them to keep players on their toes but not go over the top with frustration. The music in Tiny Barbarian DX is also very well crafted and sounds retro yet with a noticeable upgrade in acoustics for those with a great headset. The sound effects relay information similar to video games of the past.
