Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Review

What’s up everybody welcome to RealGamerNewZ. Today the new Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has released on PS4, Xbox, and PC platforms with next-gen upgrades on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 as well. We’re playing on PC using high frame rate settings and noticing the many differences between this game and Modern Warfare 2019. For starters, there is far less recoil on the guns – virtually none in fact. The sound design is less realistic and the gameplay feel is ultra fast with less thought given to realism in the shooting, reloading, tossing of lethals, etc. to an interesting result. This game is very fun once you get used to it, but certainly a bit more cheesey and less skill based compared to Modern Warfare 2019.

COD Creator Vince Zampella proves his vision to EA Games, and is given the keys to the company

Over the course of such a legendary career as Vince Zampella, we have to keep in mind that external factors are always going on behind-the-scenes which cannot and will never be spoken about directly out loud. This is due to a variety of reasons, among them being contractual obligations, saving face, or even legality in some cases. His name has made the headlines more than once in the gaming industry, and always for the same reason – this is a highly sought after individual with Activision and EA Games fighting over the talent acquisition numerous times over the past few decades!

Update: Rest In Peace Vince Zampella sadly was involved in a car accident and passed away shortly after the release of magnus opus, Battlefield 6, years after this article was initially written.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Real Gamer Review

Black Ops 4 marks the first Treyarch developed COD game since 2015 and the extra time taken for its development certainly shows. While not perfect, this year’s Call of Duty has taken on a lot of praise from skeptics and loyalists alike. There’s a reason why sales in the series have been going downhill whenever Treyarch isn’t involved, and with BO4 they’ve proven once again that they’re not to be underestimated. At the top of the priority list for BO4 is quality, performance, precision, and a brand-new take on battle royale.

About RealGamerNewz

RealGamerNewz Car Jump

RealGamerNewz is a brand that was built on freedom of speech, brutal honesty, and an open-minded team covering a diverse section of topics and platforms. Forged out of molten lava itself, our brand started off as a rebel faction in the blogosphere that was able to overcome the strong arm of censorship that exists in every industry these days and just like a steel sword we are that much stronger for being birthed through fire.

The heat we generated when we first hit the scene with our floating brand podcast which was hosted on various high profile websites eventually demanded that a home for authors with a voice be protected from the politically correct and corporately controlled media outlets of today. RealGamerNewz.com was formed as a haven for those who want to bring the truth to light for gamers everywhere. Better yet, to admit when those truths have many ways of being interpreted, do the best job possible of showing multiple viewpoints, and to keep the spirit of video games strong.

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark Review

TFRotds

Transformers: RotDS is a third-person shooter published by Activision. It is both a sequel to Transformers: War for Cybertron/Transformers: Fall of Cybertron by developer High Moon Studios and a tie-in to the Transformers: Age of Extinction blockbuster film. This time the reigns have been handed over to developer Edge of Reality (Loudout, Incredible Hulk). Does the new development team, do the series justice, or do they fail to live up to the high (No pun intended) standards set by High Moon?

Angry Birds: Star Wars PS4 Review

Angry Birds: Star Wars doesn’t exactly contain a story or plot-line, but it does fine enough without one. Of course, any sort of Star Wars story would have had to be perfectly in line with lore behind the series as to appease fans almost OCD-like obsession with the source material while at the same time fitting the simplicity of being applicable to the genre of game this is, so that would have been extremely challenging for Rovio Entertainment to incorporate anyways. That being said, it sure wouldn’t have hurt to have some reason why you were doing these things other than the sheer fun of it.
