Turbo: Super Stunt Squad will surprise you if you think it’s just a silly game for kids. Each time you start up a round you are given a short amount of time to make your way through an obstacle course which mixes racing with free-roam, trick-based concepts reminiscent of the Tony Hawk skateboarding video games of ‘yesteryear’. This includes everything from grinding, half-pipes, ‘verts’, and a lot more.

Filling in the gap with some much needed realistic racing which has been missing for a number of years. Many people will tell you that Need for Speed Most Wanted is one of the best Need for Speed games ever made. So you can imagine people’s reactions when Criterion Games announced they were going to release an updated re-imagined version of the game, me included. Let me just straighten something out now. I love Need for Speed, I played, finished and loved everything from Underground to Carbon, and I’ve even played games like Gran Turismo, Forza, and PGR and loved them too. So just take it from me when I say this. THIS GAME IS TERRIBLE. There’s no sugar coating it, it’s awful, and woeful and glitch-ridden.

If you know anything about racing games then you know that there might be more hardcore simulation systems out there but when it comes to simply wiping dirt all over your opponent’s face, WRC 3 is going to spend some time spinning your wheels.
