Fallout 76 is an online-only exploration and survival role playing shooter game quite unlike any other. This spin-off title was developed by BattleCry Studios (which was folded into Bethesda Game Studios in March 2018), and while the release has been marred by various controversies surrounding leaks, the game’s launch, and the handling of customer relations, this review will seek to discuss the actual game itself after an extensive amount of gameplay and deep dive on what this live experience has to offer for those who are still interested in playing.

Halo: Spartan Strike Review

The Year is 2552. Murder aliens for the good of the human species in Halo: Spartan Strike, where you don’t play as Master Chief but you will be fellow a Spartan soldier uncovering the details of events in the Halo story-line previously shrouded in some degree of mystery. Thirty missions are faced as back-story is given to the Halo franchise and that same beloved twin-stick shooter gameplay from Halo: Spartan Assault is brought to an even higher quality level. Tom Salta who did the soundtrack for Halo 2: Anniversary is back again to provide a moving score that feels great while gaming, and graphically the title has been taken to a new level as well. While you can get the game from Windows Store on your Windows 8 Phone, Windows 8 PC, or the Apple Appstore on iPhone / iPad, many people enjoy playing through Steam on Windows 7 still and Microsoft chose not to leave us behind thankfully. The game is fully available on its own for just $5.99 or with the original game it sequels for $9.99 as a two-game bundle.

Earth Defense Force 2025 PS3 Review

EDF Review RGN 2

Earth Defense Force 2025 is a third-person shooter from developer Sandlot. A sequel to EDF 2017, it sees the planet Earth once again threatened by giant bugs and an alien threat known as the Ravagers. That is all you really need to know about this game’s story. It’s a throwaway tale, filled with B movie dialogue and equally cheesy voice acting. The main focus of this game is to kill everything in sight and have fun. EDF generally delivers, though it is not without its annoyances.

Binary Domain Review

Binary Domain takes place well into the future and it takes full advantage leaving behind not many missed gameplay opportunities. You’ll see yourself using technology such as nano-machines to upgrade your weapons and other technological advancements to your advantage during your war against robots. You’ll be glad to have these advantages on your side too. Since your enemy isn’t human they’ve got a few advantages themselves, most notably they don’t die just from losing limbs.

Resident Evil Revelations HD Review

Intro: There are those who say Resident Evil Revelations HD is nothing more than a “3DS Port” which allegedly “feels like a mobile game still”, but after significant time playing through the title it becomes clear right away that those claims are false. Resident Evil Revelations HD is a solid entry in this classic franchise and actually manages to outshine all other home console entries this generation in terms of the one player experience it is capable of providing. While we enjoy Resident Evil 5 and 6 for cohesive co-operative play, these titles have also been on the victim’s end of quite a few bashings for that experience not holding up to expectations in single player play-throughs.
