Stick It To The Man! is an interesting platformer / puzzle game in which players take on a main character Ray, who after a mysterious head injury can now read minds. Everything opens up with a subliminal dream sequence – which may be taken as a metaphor preluding to later events – as players get the character to awaken himself from the dream and discover a parasite of some sort within the brain.
A-Men 2 is a very interesting mixture of puzzle and action platformer gaming in which players see themselves through a number of stages that are meant to challenge the mind as well as skill of the player. Not only must the puzzle-like layout of each stage be solved but along the way the traditional gameplay mechanics of the platforming and side-scroller genres must also be mastered. For example falling from great heights will get the player killed and there are enemies actively patrolling who must be dealt with, sometimes fatally. The stages will even get so tricky that they allow saving mid-way at select points with kiosks made for such a task, you’ll be rewarded with extra experience points for not using these though.
Proteus is an indie developed game by a team of two individuals by the names of Ed Key and David Kanaga. To call it a game is unfair, as it is more of an experience. It was released in January of this year for Steam and October for Vita and PS3. This review is based on the Steam version. It plays smoothly on low-end PCs.

Strength of the Sword 3, is a third-person action title from Ivent Games, available exclusively for download on PlayStation 3′s PSN. Originally released in Europe back in June, this two man developed indie title has now made its way to the US.
Story:Â The basic plot of Final Exam begins without much complications. A crew of four are headed to a party when something goes drastically wrong. Things take a turn for the worst with our party of four ending up on the receiving end of an all-out assault by various types of monstrosities each specialized with different ways to kill you. Turns out, a mad scientist with an ironic and familiar name has unleashed some sort of virus causing normal people to be turned into unspeakably grotesque killing machines once submerged in a pitch black fog.
ibb & obb is an incredible experience in two player, co-operative platforming / puzzle adventuring which will have you laughing at times, doesn’t require a mic to be enjoyed online, and has an equally fascinating (though slightly less playable) single player game mode. Controlling either ibb or obb, you’ll run into platforming puzzles that will at first have you stumped. Quickly through either trial and error or logical rationalizing, you and your partner will find your way through each level and grow to appreciate the simplicity of ibb & obb’s gameplay design. Figuring out how to use each element of gameplay, which is introduced one at a time, is definitely part of the fun. From jump-pads to character-specific portals you’ll have to master all of these in-game mechanics in order to advance.
Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark (Also known as Stealth Baz-tard released on Windows in 2011) is a 2D platform video game developed and published by Curve Studios released on PSN for PS3 and Vita.
Intro- I’m just going to keep swinging my fists and walking in your direction, if they happen to hit you in the face it’s your own fault. Remember that game when we were kids, or is it just me? Hotline Miami takes some of the most raw and unforgiving gameplay mechanics derived from street fights and brings them together into a game that will put hair on your chest. In Hotline Miami you are a killer who takes out mansions full of goons who are obsessed with rave club music and putting chicks into bathtubs. Not exactly a hero, you once did this for revenge. Now your anger, hatred, and passion are all blurring into one sadistic blend of combat.
The main character of Guacamelee! personifies the luchador culture while at the same time introducing his epic journey to share with you. You will switch between the world of the living and the dead as Juan Aguacate as you fight through your quest to stop The Calaca from taking El Presidente’s Daughter (amongst other world-threatening things). You are given enough motivation to get into gear and really feel the meaning behind each move you make and attack you perform. Things stay interesting as unexpected plot twists and a hint of adult humor subtlety make their presence known. Each scene in the game is essential in building your character’s back-story and place in the gameworld and arsenal leading up to the roller coaster that is ending The Calaca’s reign.
Thomas Was Alone starts out as a platformer that talks to you, but it becomes so much more as it tells the story of an intuitive plot that lends itself to gameplay, or was it vice versa? One can’t be too sure with such an introspective narrative that quickly becomes one metacognitive realization after another.
Dragon Fantasy Book I. Does that name ring a bell?
