Leviathan Warships is a turn-based naval simulator featuring full co-operative and competitive multiplayer as well as a single player campaign and is available now on PC on platforms such as Steam published by Paradox Interactive. In this title players take full advantage of upgrading and essentially constructing their naval ships from scratch. Each turn is programmed out including cool-down ratios which must be taken into account every time a move is made. If you want to expect a good amount of damage to be deflected then you need to not only decide where to move your ships and where to aim their attacks, but you also need to keep track of which direction your ship is facing. There are only certain shield protections that you will be able to fit onto your ship as balanced with your weaponry. This is all based on the weight of each additional piece to your ship.

Binary Domain Review
Binary Domain takes place well into the future and it takes full advantage leaving behind not many missed gameplay opportunities. You’ll see yourself using technology such as nano-machines to upgrade your weapons and other technological advancements to your advantage during your war against robots. You’ll be glad to have these advantages on your side too. Since your enemy isn’t human they’ve got a few advantages themselves, most notably they don’t die just from losing limbs.

Thomas Was Alone PS3 Review
Thomas Was Alone starts out as a platformer that talks to you, but it becomes so much more as it tells the story of an intuitive plot that lends itself to gameplay, or was it vice versa? One can’t be too sure with such an introspective narrative that quickly becomes one metacognitive realization after another.
Resident Evil Revelations HD Review
Intro: There are those who say Resident Evil Revelations HD is nothing more than a “3DS Port” which allegedly “feels like a mobile game still”, but after significant time playing through the title it becomes clear right away that those claims are false. Resident Evil Revelations HD is a solid entry in this classic franchise and actually manages to outshine all other home console entries this generation in terms of the one player experience it is capable of providing. While we enjoy Resident Evil 5 and 6 for cohesive co-operative play, these titles have also been on the victim’s end of quite a few bashings for that experience not holding up to expectations in single player play-throughs.
Far Cry 3 Review
Far Cry 3 takes place on a South Pacific archipelago which is somewhere in the world, with players taking the role of Jason Brody a normal college graduate who goes on vacation with his two brothers, his girlfriend, and his friends. The vacation quickly turns bad as he and his friends are captured by slavers. After escaping the a drug-crazed slaver named Vaas who kills his older brother grant, Jason must quickly turn from frightened tourist into a one-man army, fighting to rescue his friends. Along the way Jason meets various locals of the islands all of which were memorable characters and every person you meet feels like a real person with actual motivations and reasons for what they do.
Metro: Last Light (PS3 / PC) Review
Pushing the boundaries of PC gaming while also managing to deliver a fully immersive narrative and gameplay experience, Metro: Last Light is essentially Fallout without the boring parts. The hit detection in this game is second to none, every shot you take will go where it should. But that’s not the only thing about Metro: Last Light that will have you on the edge of your seat. Stealth gameplay also makes a huge appearance once again with light and shadow playing a role in the tactics and strategy employed upon approach. The setting of the game is a wasteland riddled with political corruption and wild mutants as well as a controversial race of beings that those who completed Metro 2033 should know all about. These beings are dubbed the Dark Ones.
The graphics in this game are phenomenal and although you won’t be getting the same experience on console as you will on a high-end PC, the great translation on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 actually looks fantastic and could easily pass for one of the best looking console games of the year. Beyond that the game’s’ physics engine is tight, and just plain old fun. For once you’re able to max out your gaming experience (and we really mean max out) without having to compensate in your gameplay routine for a poor game engine. This means Metro: Last Light produces a stress-free experience aside from the difficulty which can be very brutal as you run short on ammo and resort to calculated tactics for survival.
Some moments of this game feel like they are right out of a science fiction novel and tip toe around deep thinking philosophy that will have those who pay attention to detail pondering other worldly topics and aspects. However, this type of “sending a message” with the game thing doesn’t overstep its boundaries at all. The storyline of this game mainly intends on keeping you gripped in the action and passion of the main characters quest for survival in the Metro and at times on the scarred, worn surface of Earth itself. Adaptive artificial intelligence and intriguing enemy design will keep you on your toes and have you shocked into adrenaline mode quite often, and you will have to learn each enemy’s reaction to the guns you’ve got on hand until you know the most efficient way to kill what you’re up against.
The characters in Metro: Last Light are very well developed, and you’ll find yourself walking in on conversations that you just have to hear. These can distract you from the main plot, but also turn into side missions that you can actually play and experience for yourself. Most of the story line’s non-playable characters are quite memorable, and have a distinct personality to each their own. The game is entirely single player, with no multiplayer to speak of, but you won’t mind because it’s truly a single player shooter done right that veterans of the clouded genre can be proud to own and enjoy playing more than once.
The ranger mode adds to the gameplay experience by removing the heads up display in the game and creating an even more drastic shortage of ammo. Already in the game’s hardcore and normal modes you will need to be very careful how much time you spend wandering around in the game if you want to live. There is no swimming, and when you’re on the surface you need to be weary of how much oxygen and bullets you use now in order to balance how many you will be saving for later. There’s an ability to buy and sell ammo while also customizing your guns, but this chance will come only a handful of times as the game’s highly amped action sequences take you from place to place in a powerful rollercoaster of cause and effect.
Final Verdict:Â Metro: Last Light is an extremely polished shooter with a story that grips you and gameplay that has you gripping your controller tight until the end. RealGamerNewz scores this game a 9.75 out of 10.

Dead Island Riptide Review
Well the time is upon us. The foul smell of rotting flesh is in the air. What will be your weapon of choice? Who will live to fight another day and who will fall victim to the mounting hoards of reanimated, mindless, flesh hungry zombies? Dead Island Riptide is the perfect blend of survival and horror and redefines the genre which has often been accused of becoming watered down. The action of the game is intense, the story pulls you in and grips you, but most importantly you really feel like you are living in a post-apocalyptic world in which your every move must be calculated. Your eyes will learn to scan for infected constantly. Every time you turn a corner you will have to be prepared to strike.

NASCAR The Game: Inside Line Review
You can tell that it’s that time of year again when the smell of burning fuel, the sound of screeching tires fills the air. The anticipation begins to mount as the rumble of the eight hundred horsepower, two hundred mile per hour behemoths begin their run towards the starting line. Once again if you’re looking to insert yourself into the NASCAR experience there is only one way other than heading out to the track itself, and that’s with NASCAR The Game: Inside Line.
BioShock Infinite Review
BioShock Infinite returns into the hands of it’s original creator Irrational games. They made one of the highest rated games of all time for the Xbox 360 back in oh hmm 2007. It was a marvel of wonders as to this date remains one of my favorite games. The question here is how does BioShock Infinite stand up to the first one or is it even worth the while for all these delays.
Halo 4 Spartan Ops Season 1 Review
Halo 4 the game itself didn’t conclude and is still growing strong with the new handlers 343. Now the final episode of Season 1 of Spartan Ops came out yesterday and it was surprising what they did now I wont go into spoilers on this but will give points on what’s good with Spartan ops and how to make season 2 and possibly 3 better and if they continue it into Halo 5.
WRC 3: FIA World Rally Championship Review
The WRC racing series has always paved the way and made a name for itself within its own niche of pure rally racing that comes straight off the top as an exciting and adrenaline-filled experience. If you know anything about racing games then you know that there might be more hardcore simulation systems out there but when it comes to simply wiping dirt all over your opponent’s face, WRC 3 is going to spend some time spinning your wheels.
Battlefield 3 Review
Frostbite 2 engine that sums this game up this game a lot. I also asked a veteran in the military if this was a realistic experience, and he said not by a long shot.
Multiplayer: The variety of big maps and team tactical combat is unmatched in this modern day FPS. You have to help your team out in a lot of ways in this game, by reviving and storming in. picking up so many options it feels real the style and the stamina while running is perfectly ligate. Knifing is definitely the most realistic kill in the game as it isn’t some stupid swing across the view, you must go up and stab your enemy. It makes you feel like a solider at some points with the recoil and aiming and destructible environment.
Co-op: The work of the two players is vital if one player goes away it is very difficult as it depends on straight up working together. The story in takes place around the campaign in areas you may have or not seen but it takes place as an alternative as you stop them from nuking Paris at the end of it. But you must rely on each in co-op or you will fail that means talk to each other and plan ahead.
Campaign: The major area of this game for me as the main character is Sargent Blackburn you are being court marshaled but first the military wants all the info they can get out of Blackburn, so he tells his story which spans over a year in this 5 hour campaign. You fight terrorist, Russians, Police, and even your own at a part of it. Most of the game you are trying to figure out what is going on in the world it all depends on the race against time to stop nukes from hitting major points which one nuke destroys Paris and you save New York city from the second one at the end maybe it will have a sequel cause of the ending and maybe the second nuke wasn’t a threat who knows Battlefield 4 will come one day. But at the same time it fells like the story is like the improved Black Ops story
Graphics: PC the graphics are  great one the best or close up there with Crysis 2 on the PC as it looks as real as my own hand at times.PS3 the graphics seem to only reach highness on HD TV on any other its missing something. Xbox 360 you need two disc and download the HD content but its doesn’t close to the PC version. The console graphics just look flat out muddy and rushed compared to what I played on the PC.
Final Verdict: Beautiful Graphics, some of the worst teamwork multiplayer I’ve ever seen, co-op where you have to work with your partner which can either be great or terrible, the campaign as a decent story its epic just a little too many cliffhangers and ugly looking graphics on consoles. I find this game to be one of the biggest disappointments of 2011. I award Battlefield 3 a 3.5 as it fell below the Call.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Review
Since the creation of this modern day FPS, Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare back in 2007 the series has enjoyed staggering record sales numbers along with a huge fan base and unlimited resources. The overall idea was the perfect formula that grabbed hold of most gamers’ attention and has not let go since. This series has been and continues to be the FPS that gamers refuse to stop playing, the question is why?
Modern Warfare 3 Survival and Spec Ops Review
Having finished up both the campaign and multi-player reviews on this title and by request of a few readers I figured might as well get some time in on the remaining modes Survival and Spec-Ops. After logging almost fourteen hours between the two modes the first thing I have to say is with the exception of missions changing Spec-Ops is the exact same mode as Black-Ops released last year and it’s predecessor MW2.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Review
Call of Duty 8: Modern Warfare 3 is the latest installment of the best selling FPS ever, but it’s on every system – is that why it sells so much? Is this game really even worth it?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 PSN Multiplayer Review
With this latest release to the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare series, MW3, there have been a few changes to the multiplayer mode. While at the same time changes are being made, almost everything from a technical standpoint is the same. For instance, online problems from the previous installment swept under a rug in a dark corner of the room. Whether it is in hopes that nobody notices or just due to the fact that the regime doesn’t really care what hard core gamers think of their work as long as they get bank, we will never truly know.
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded Micro Review
[Welcome to Tristan’s Twisted World by Tristan Werbe for RealGamerNewz.com, check out my Micro Review for GoldenEye 007: Reloaded.]
One of the best games of the 90s for Nintendo 64 is now coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii but can the PS3 and Xbox versions live up to how it plays on the Wii and even the 3ds?
Dark Souls Review
Dark souls is a trial by death experience; a temperament to the gamers self-control and endurance. It’s gritty, dark, emotionally compelling and atmospherically nerve wreaking. Players venturing into its madness will not only become immersed in its visceral world, but engulfed to its maddening difficulty. It’s a concept that any enemy is a strong enemy and every new area not only offers new sceneries but different kinds of enemies within each said area.
