Ever wanted to play a rip of Terraria with the Music Track from Brutal Legends, well here is your game. What Lies Beneath is a single player action-RPG with some local only multiplayer in which youâll explore the island of Namok and its deadly dungeon in hope to find your wifeâs killer.. Yeah.. Your Wife.. Since this is a simple indie title I will start by talking a bit about what I am assuming is the story. This game starts you off in a farm, which I assume is your farm since after going upstairs you find a dead bunny who the main character (Insert Name Here) claims is his dead wife.
POP Methodology Experiment One Review

Have you ever wanted to know the meaning of life in a very peaceful and meaningful video game? Well this is not that game. This game takes flashing colors, disco music, and random mini-games to the next level. There is literally no plot, no story, nor even a reason to play it, unless you already know whatâs in store for you. Then why did I? Because I was extremely curious about how this game would play out. And it pretty much did how I thought it would, as an Epic Mind Trip.
Dying Light Review

Dying Light comes from Techland who has made high budget games for every platform out. Theyâve also had some great experience in the survival genre making games such as the Dead Island series as well as the Call of Juarez series. Since inception as a company in 1991 Techland has opened up five offices around the world and now put their absolute best foot forward with the exemplary effort Dying Light.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare â Outbreak Exo Zombies / Havoc DLC Xbox Review

Xbox One Exclusive: At this time no other platforms DLC release date are confirmed. If you havenât already, go check out our CoD:AW Review to get a feel for where we rank the game overall in the franchise and genre at large. Outbreak is perhaps the most unexpected and now talked about piece of the Havoc DLC, so thatâs what this Review will mainly focus around. It is unclear at this time how many new Zombies maps will be released by Sledgehammer Games in total â so keep that in mind. That being said, so far their work is impressive.
Review: Resident Evil / biohazard HD REMASTER
Resident Evil made its inception back on the early days of the PlayStation. Since then, Capcom has ported the game to over other platforms and released numerous sequels to the original all time classic.  Audiences have cringed at the monstrosities that await them in the desolate Spencer mansion.
Not all the Jill Sandwiches in the world can save you from the horrors that lurk inside Resident Evil. Â Resident Evilâs creepy environments, terrifying enemies and obscure camera angles have garnered masses of fans through the years. Resident Evil HD Re-mastered Edition for the PS4 is a re-mastered version done right the way fans new and old can come to love this already amazing franchise.
At 20 bucks itâs a steal for what youâre paying for. You are getting all the content that was released on the original Gamecube release plus a little more. Multiple runs of this game means hours of replay value.
Graphics:
I was stunned at the remarkable difference of quality in the lighting and sharpness of the textures. The graphics make this already horror gem a marvel to look at. The Cut-scenes and Cinematics have all been done in real-time. The cut-scenes also had zero lag when running compared to the Gamecube version. All the environments look absolutely amazing and polished. Everything is solid from the environments to the animations.
Features:
The HD aspect ratio has been raised from the original 480p to 1080p. Including the aspect ratio there is a number of new tweaks to give the game that graphical precision. Non-static 3d Models and Post Processing Bloom filters which were not possible at the time of the original Gamecube release.
The graphics are breathtaking, everything is brighter and cleaner. 5.1 surround has been added as an option and the sampling rate has been enhanced. Widescreen support is also an included feature. If you wish to play the game in original settings with nothing changed you can do so as well. Â The game also adds new bonuses to players including all the various game modes and extra costumes that were bundled in the original Gamecube version.
Controls:
The controls have also had a change to be more intuitive and user friendly that closely resembles a next gen game control scheme. No stiffer tank controls but if you still prefer it then by all means. I had no trouble maneuvering around the mansion as Jill or Chris and it made it that much easier to save time and effort.
You can still pull off a 180 turn and there are different types of control schemes but movement can be changed from original to alternate. Aiming is still the same auto aim depending how close you are to a foe but manual is the other option if you canât get them in your sights. The inventory menu is still the classic swap, combine, and examine system from the earlier titles.
Story:
The story is the same song and dance but if you havenât played the game let me do a quick recap. You take on the role of either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine as they search for the lost members of Bravo team. As soon as you they touch down on the ground near the Spencer mansion, they find the lost chopper of Bravo team.
Though not is all at is it seems as Chris and Jill find a derelict chopper with no one inside. As soon as they start searching they are met with ravenous dogs called Cerberus who are now hunting them down to tear apart their flesh. They hope to find safety as they run towards the Spencer mansion but they couldnât be anymore wrong. Â The game picks up with whatever character you chose.
If you picked Jill you will be partnered with Barry Burton until certain instances in the game. If you go with Chris you are forced to fight alone until you meet up with Rebecca Chambers. Â Depending on who you pick you will meet different people and have different choices that determine the ending as well as who you will save.
Gameplay:
You will have to shoot, dodge, and use your wits to escape the many terrors that await you inside the mansion. The creepy environments and the uneasiness of silence as you enter a room only to find yourself desperately in the arms of zombie trying to make you his late night snack.
The Crimson Heads are all the more terrifying and are a force to be reckoned with. Â Make a wrong move and you pay for it with your life, a team memberâs, or a loss of an item you so desperately need to survive. Not only enemies but traps await you that will catch you off-guard if youâre not too careful.
Both characters Jill and Chris have their own different strategies you must learn in order to keep them alive to make it through horrors that surround you. Jillâs campaign is fairly easier compared to Chrisâ as it is meant for more experienced players.
You will embark on quests that will make you backtrack to different areas of the mansion for key items. Some quests will require you to help an AI partner whether it means scouring the rooms of the mansion to save their life. Â Your strongest enemy is your sanity as you take on bosses that can kill you in an instant.
If you do survive the terror it isnât over just yet if you want to unlock the many unlockable items such as costumes, weapons, and modes. Overall the game can take you anywhere from 8 ½ hours to finish the main quest and 11+ hours if you do so with the intent to unlock everything at 100%.
If you beat this game in less time there will be special bonuses for achieving it. There are achievements and trophies now so at least somewhat of a guide on what you have to do.
Sound:
The sound quality is amazing especially on the 5.1 surround sound setting. You can hear the sound of a bullet as it exits the chamber of your berretta and the crunch of a zombieâs head as you stomp his brains in. The ambience sounds such as the clanking of chains off in the distance as you enter the silent rooms in the mansion, the howling of the wind in the forest, and the cawing of crows waiting to poke you to death in an instance. The music in the save room brings a shiver down my spine and a trip down memory lane of all those countless nights I spent years ago.
Final Verdict:
Resident Evil Re-mastered Edition is a long awaited revival of Survival-Horror games. It seems they are coming back slowly but surely. It brings a classic feel of the old days of gaming that had a lot of time and creative flow put into them.
These games arenât just to entertain us; they are supposed to inspire us. If games like this come back not just through ports but through new titles that offer something new fresh and innovating ideas then I still have hope for the Game Industry to not get lost in translation with the same shooter we have seen a thousand times before.
I also would like to add that if you want to pick this up for any other platform you can do so for the PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and *PC. Though, the PC version is by far the best because it runs at the full 60 Frames Per Second. If you donât have one you canât go wrong playing on a PS4 or Xbox One.  As for you gamers who havenât made the leap yet to Next Gen, you can still be glad you can play it on your Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles to experience most of the uplift in texture quality and cinematic cut-scene upgrades. Check out the Specs for the PC version below:
*PC VERSION (SPECS) RECOMMENDED:
OS: WindowsÂŽ 7 SP1 / WindowsÂŽ 8.1
Processor: IntelŽ Core⢠2 Quad 2.7 GHz, AMD Phenom⢠II X4 3.0 GHz or better

Grand Theft Auto V Strategy Guide Review

If you need to find the most detailed and complete guide to GTA V, then look no further. The team over at BradyGames has put together a fantastic signature series strategy guide to any GTA V knowledge you may be searching for, all in one great looking package. From the minute I first saw this guide it just screamed collectible with just under 500 highly detailed full color pictures made from tear resistant pages front to back to ensure long lasting use while keeping it looking fresh. I knew this guide would be a serious commodity to the story mode section of the game but it also completely covers the entire online mode as well all platforms in this one book. The table of contents is set on two open pages with only eight categories so you can see everything the without having to flip over a page.
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Review

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is a fast paced twin-stick shooter from developer, Lucid Games. The sixth (Yes sixth) installment in the Geometry Wars series, sees players blast their way through waves of countless enemies while maneuvering on 2D and now also 3 dimensional grids. Did Lucid deliver a title worthy of your attention? Is the sun hot?
Game of Thrones Episode 1 â Iron From Ice Review
When reviewing a game by TellTale, it is very easy to review Game of Thrones by the sum of its parts but, not by what it was âdesignedâ to do. In order to not fall into that trap, one must look at TellTaleâs past to judge the game based around the literary/HBO juggernaut Game of Thrones. Now full disclosure, I have not read any of the books but I am caught up on the television series so if there are any inaccuracies or assumptions it will stem from the deviations the show took from the book.

Tales From The Borderlands â Episode 1: Zero Sum Review
Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to get my hands on Tales From The Borderlands for Xbox One thanks to our PR contact at Telltale Games. I was quite excited to get my hands on this game, as I have played all of the previous Borderlands games and I enjoyed playing through The Walking Dead from Telltale Games as well. While you donât need any prior knowledge of the previous Borderlands games, it doesnât hurt to have played them before. All the hilarious dialogue and quirky Borderlands moments still come out, even though you arenât going around guns blazing this time.
Never Alone Review

Never Alone comes from development studio Upper One Games which started back in 2012 and is known for being the first indigenous owned company in the United States. They have teamed up with E-Line Media to publish Never Alone. Never Alone is the first game of its own kind in the aspect that it combines the culture of the native people of Alaska known as the Inupiat with action and adventure to create a truly great gameplay experience.
Rock Zombie Review

Imagine an all woman rock band of witches playing and a zombie apocalypse breaks out, and they have to save the day. Â That sounds like an awesome kick butt time, right? Rock Zombie is just that an amazing modern arcade-style game that was just recently released by EnjoyUp on the Wii U. The story follows a comic books style in between the levels for the cut scenes which is really fun and cool.
The band is a band of witches who love to rock the house, one night they start performing and all of the sudden they find something a miss. Might be the fact that there is a horde of zombies coming at them not crazy rock fans. They notice that there is a mysterious green fog coming from across town. So now they have to battle the zombies to get across town so that they can figure out what is causing people to turn to zombies.
Grand Theft Auto V PlayStation 4 Review

Straight from the first step into Los Santos the textures and graphics are exactly what weâve all been hoping for, depth visuals. Whether your returning from PS3 or this is your first visit to Los Santoâs, you are in for a treat. The environment looks super smooth with eye-popping details in every object, I dare say Rockstar may have we finally tamed GTAâs beastly new engine and harnessed its power properly on next-gen consoles.
Little Big Planet 3 Review

It doesnât come as a surprise to me when I say Little Big Planet is back and better than ever. I mean, with 3 new characters, completely new story, new customization, and the ability to play all of the player created maps from the original? Yeah, Little Big Planet is back and itâs better than ever. If you have loved the previous installments, as I have, then there really isnât a reason for you to not buy Little Big Planet 3. The game offers new characters, new styles of play, and new ways to enjoy your time. Little Big Planet 3 is the best game in the installment for many reasons, but itâs also the biggest one as well.
This War of Mine Review
This (little) War of Mine is going to shine. This War of Mine is a game with a bold concept, not all people in wars are soldiers. This actually a fact that is easily looked over by many, but this title tries to kick you swiftly for that thought. As the game is beautiful, itâs depressing, itâs fun, and itâs a real challenge.
I didnât find it very difficult to get sucked in to This War of Mine, as I played it all day Veteranâs Day and have accumulated some hours on it since receiving my code. Itâs a game that has intrigued me for many reasons, I did not get to test the preview that was given out a few months ago sadly, but I am very happy with what I have been playing. This War of Mine is a point and click survival game, but the point and click does not exactly do it any justice. Itâs an addictive game with a great story, great mechanics, beautiful music, and a hell of a point.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Strategy Guide Review
The latest title in the juggernaut FPS franchise is finally here and BradyGames has released a strategy guide for both its returning fans and newcomers alike. Did BG deliver a guide worthy of the asking price, or should this be avoided at all cost?
Assassinâs Creed Unity Review

I havenât fully beaten an Assassinâs Creed game since the 2nd installment. I would lose interest in the game far too quickly for several reasons. This series hasnât been able to captivate me since that title. Black Flag is a toss up, as I ran out of time to play it. Assassinâs Creed Unity is a somewhat different experience for me as I am able to play for hours on end without falling over due to boredom, so in that sense we are seeing improvement.
Tomb Raider: The Ten Thousand Immortals Review

Tomb Raider: The Ten Thousand Immortals by bestselling British novelist and comic book writer, Dan Abnett and Nik Vincent, is a novel continuing Lara Croftâs adventure and takes place between the events on Yamatai in the Tomb Raider reboot and the next to be released game title. This tale is considered cannon and acknowledge as such by developer Crystal Dynamics.
Time Rifters Review
Time Rifters is a pretty unique game in itâs own. Pick a gun, upgrade that gun, and destroy different types of cubes in the process, pretty straight forward huh? Well look at all that, and add the fact that you can Play with 3 other bots that replay exactly what you do. Time Rifters implemented what I like to call, the ghost play. In this you play the first round with one of your bots, Shoot some cubes and lets say, destroy half of them. Round 2 is the same, you play as a new bot, but along with your new bot. when you start the round your previous recorded bot for that level will do exactly what it did round one, and with your new bot you can destroy the other cubes your previous one didnât. Pretty cool isnât it. Well personally, I think that is a pretty awesome feature. It is definitely a feature I havenât seen in any other game (that I know of). But this is where you can really enjoy the game, because you can create a tactic and then switch it up on the following arena round leaving your ghost to do what you prepared it for like flanking one way while you go the other to shoot down cubes and cube monsters to try to achieve higher completion points.
Civilization: Beyond Earth Review

Civilization: Beyond Earth is not a flawless game. Itâs AI annoys the piss out of me, the bugs bothersome, and the feels extremely similar to Civilization V for obvious reasons. Yet, despite these complaints I remain addicted to Beyond Earth. It has wrecked my sleeping and eating cycle as I continuously utter âOne more round⌠one more roundâŚâ I am somewhat more addicted to this than I was for Civilization V, the reason for this is because I have no clue what I am doing. It feels the same, but the revamps done have truly made it feel completely different despite looking very similar. The game still manages to stand on itâs own two feet despite what people have been saying.
PDP Afterglow Kral Wireless PS4 Headset Review

The Afterglow Kral Wireless Headset for PS4, is the latest in gaming accessories from company, PDP. With countless gaming headsets out on the market, does the Kral deliver, or does it fail to set itself apart from the crowd?
Sunset Overdrive Review

Itâs hard to describe this game as a whole, itâs as if Insomniac Games decided to mix several awesome games together and make an even âawesomerâ game. Welcome to the Awesomepocalypse, where we make up words and life isnât nearly as boring. Sunset City has been taken over by some of the weirdest mutants of all time and the culprit behind it all? An energy drink. Sunset Overdrive combines some awesome gameplay mechanics, with an entertaining story, interesting art, and some awesome customization. Itâs a game that takes away from other games, but still manages to hold itâs own and it stands tall.
Just Dance 2015 Review

Just Dance 2015 is the sixth iteration of the best selling dancing franchise from Ubisoft. The first title came out in 2009 and every year since they have been adding iterations of their games with new songs in each one as well as new features making it one of the best dance games on the market. Ubisoft is best known for some of their franchises that have just gotten bigger with time such as: Assassins Creed, Far Cry, Splinter Cell, Rayman, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Prince of Persia, and of course Just Dance.
The Legend of Korra Review
The Legend of Korra is a beat em title from PlatinumGames. Based on the popular and critically acclaimed Nickelodeon television series of the same name, the newest game takes place during Seasons 2 and 3. Was the developer able do the series and character justice, or does The Legend of Korra fall to the same trappings as many other license titles before it? Sadly its the latter.
Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary Edition Review!
For those of you who have played the Gabriel Knight murder mystery series this remastered version is sure to hit home with some of you who played the original back when it released in 1993. Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers was an award winning murder mystery back in 1993 and now Pinkerton Road has released the remastered 20th anniversary edition.
The remastered edition features many upgrades from itâs original counterpart including new high resolution 3D graphics, new puzzles and scenes, a remastered soundtrack, and a bunch of behind the scenes goodies for those of you really into the Gabriel Knight series. Now personally I have never played a Gabriel Knight game and was very skeptical since it was a point and click murder mystery. But playing the remastered anniversary edition was actually quite enjoyable.
