The Witch and the Hundred Knight is an action RPG title published and released exclusively on the PS3Â by NIS America in North America on March 25th of this year. It is a stage based hack and slash game with a top down isometric view similar to games like Diablo.
Last week I received a TRITTON Kunai headset from ThinkGeek.com. The TRITTON Kunai is a gaming headset compatible with the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. I tested it on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Apparently the headset can also be used with an iPod via the 3.5mm cable.
Kinect Sports Rivals is RareWareâs newest attempt at trying to get players to set down a controller in favor of hopping on your feet and getting more involved in the action on screen. Is Kinect Sports Rivals a must have Kinect title? Short answer: not quite.
Yaiba: Ninaj Gaiden Z is a third-person action game set in the Ninja Gaiden universe. It is actually a spin-off, done in great looking cel-shade comic book style, starring the titular protagonist; a rogue ninja who goes on a rampage, slaughtering his fellow clan members before coming face to face with Ninja Gaiden series mainstay, Ryu Hayabusa. Despite his skill and prowess Yaiba Kamikaze was no match for the wielder of the dragon sword and fell in combat.

âRevelationsâ is a digital only story add-on for MercurySteamâs Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Towards the end of LoS2 it was revealed that Alucard, son of Dracula played a huge role in the events of LoS2. We learned of the plan he and his Father put in motion in order to put a stop to Satan and to also have his wish of being freed from his curse of immortality.
After being released in July of last year for current gen consoles, Omega Force and Tecmo Koeiâs Dynasty Warriors 8 has finally received its standalone âXtreme Legendsâ expansion. It has been bundled togther with the full game as Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Completed Edition for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. Is it a worthwhile update, or just fluff?
When it comes to gaming keyboards, one who has never used one might wonder â why? Itâs just a keyboard after all right, they are all the same â right? Every once in a while a game comes out that defies all logic and reason, and absolutely has no meaning to it whatsoever other than to provide entertainment to its players. Goat Simulator is one of those games. Itâs chaotic, hilarious and absolutely makes no sense, which makes this game particularly difficult to review given that even the developer said that it would keep all the bugs save for the game crashing ones.

Goat Simulator is a sandbox game in which you play a goat; there is no story, just pure unadulterated goat themed fun⌠for about 6-7 hours. The world provided is very limited and as are the things to do in it. Most of the jokes lose their potency very quickly because of the limited size of the world and therefore the limited content within, they are fun the first few times around, but itâs just that sacrificing people to a pentagram kind of losses itâs charm three or four times in. You get challenges that you can try to accomplish however there is no payoff for doing them and ultimately the points are pointless (no pun intended). There are collectables hidden and scattered around the world that unlock different goat skins with different powers that do add to the experience a bit.  Ultimately there is no progression whatsoever.
Donât get me wrong, Goat Simulator is fun.
The core of the game is just running around head-butting things in order to send them flying or to get them to explode. Just about everything in the world is destructible and of course your powerhouse of an animal is capable of dismantling all of it. There are different items and powers your goat can acquire such as a jet-pack or demonic powers that send you souring sky high. On top of that you can use your goatâs tongue to drag things around the map setting elaborate traps for those pesky humans or just dragging something in the middle of the road to be hit by a speeding vehicle. The game is a total mess, but thatâs what makes it so charming, so few games are so chaotic and unpredictable that being intentionally messy is a welcome charm of the game.
Overall Goat Simulator is a good game, itâs fun with some great ideas but due to its limited size falls short of being B-A-A-A-A-DAZZ.

Bioshock Infinite has been out for a little over a year now. Now we finally have all the DLC in our hands, mainly the two episodes of Burial at Sea. I will be reviewing both episodes as if they were one, since it really feels like they should have been included together in the first place. So, would you kindly:
Yoshiâs Island has been a classic since its drop on the SNES systems in 1995, selling over 4,000,000 copies worldwide. The game keeps to the core when it comes to the series and maintains same format of other Nintendo games. Yoshiâs New Island is the sequel to the original storyline and was released for the Nintendo 3DS earlier this month.
As a long time fan of Infamous I was somewhat excited to grab this with little to no expectations. From the get go my mind was blown though. The motion controllers with the controller as well as the pads are used in maybe not the most useful way, but in an awesome way that makes me constantly keep wanting to go back for more. Infamous: Second Son is by far the best in the series and possibly the best PS4 game currently out.
Dragons and Titans is a free-to-play MOBA similar to Dota 2 and LoL. However, in Dragon and Titans your goal is much different in concept. In League and Dota they both feature ancients that the other team must destroy, but in Dragons and Titans you take control of a dragon with a throwaway character on top of it and the goal is to free your Titan by destroying the Titan cage. Similar concept, but executed in a different manner. The first thing you are forced to do is the prologue, which luckily you can skip through, but new players may want to sit through it.
Surge Deluxe is a puzzler from developer FuturLab. The game is a redone version of a PS Mobile title that came out a few years back and the changes here are quite welcome.
The game is a tile matching puzzle game that starts off pretty simple and does an incredibly good job of explaining the systems in place. It gets pretty challenging when youâre not only trying to maximize your score but also maintain the vents on the side of the screen from building up too much pressure. Build up too much pressure in the vents on the side of the screen and itâs game over for you.
The first thing you will notice after starting Constant C is its unique art style. This art style has been seen before, but unlike some of the art styles you see in platformers is not nearly as overused. The next thing you will probably notice is that the controls feel unique as well. Where most platformers feel sped up and like time runs this game has a slower movement system and allows you to enjoy your stay in the levels created by the developers. Constant C is a rich game, with well done level design even in a somewhat dead world. As the story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world.
Hook up a controller or use the mouse and keyboard together in 10 Second Ninja for the Windows PC and Mac OS X operating systems. After a lengthy introduction of audio hearing what sounds like âblah, blah, blahâ but is being typed out as dialogue explaining the backstory to this game (Nazi Robot Hitler has a Nazi Robot Army trying to take over the world, you know typical Saturday stuff!), Gameplay becomes fast-paced and unforgiving. From the start 10 Second Ninja is fun and although it is not pixelated like many games as of late the art design and style used here is actually a nice refreshing take on 2D Gaming with some hints and nods towards the older era seemingly featured here and there as well as chiptunes sometimes playing in the background of the gameâs soundtrack.
Need For Speed has been an established franchise from EA for quite some time and now they have left their mark with their new movie hitting the big screen today on March 14, 2014. Starring Aaron Paul best known from the Breaking Bad series playing as street racer Tobey Marshall. Dominic Cooper playing as Dino Brewster, as well as other actors and actress that include: Imogen Poots, Scott Mescudi, Rami Malek, Ramon Rodriguez, Dakota Johnson, and Michael Keaton.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze from the very start shines and has this reviewer excited from the get-go. The moment you launch the game you are greeted by charming music and a catchy âDooooonnnnnkkkkeeeeeeeyyy Koooooonnngâ which I will admit I attempt to imitate every time I launch the game and at times I purposely relaunch it just for this reason. I donât know if you will find this nearly as enjoyable as I have, but this is probably the best launch Iâve ever had for a game. The game features more companions than its predecessor and co op is an available feature. Anyway lets continue on with the actual game.
From the team that created the Medal of Honor franchise as well as the Call of Duty series comes an Xbox 360, Xbox ONE, and Windows PC multiplayer online first person shooter set to change the game. There may be those who wonder what makes Titanfall so special. From the beginning this title has been extremely hyped by the media and press and subsequently anybody who got their hands on it during the Alpha and Beta testing. Iâm here to tell you why no matter what you think about the game, throw away your pre-conceived notions of what it might be and listen to the analysis of a shooting game fan who has been around since the invention of the genre. Iâm here to provide just such an analysis for you in this Review.
This device has the ability to make a game better without the need to wait for official patches to be approved. It also has the ability to make you better at a game. Putting aside for a minute the many detailed cross-platform features which this review will get into later, the CronusMAX (or ControllerMAX as it has been renamed to) is capable of adjusting, tweaking, and literally hacking the input your game console receives. This even works with next-generation game consoles like the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox ONE. By purchasing this device and using the accompanying software, players become part of a community of users that develop and release miniature patches that go into the device as plug-ins and can be designed to improve the performance of controls for any particular game (for example fixing the dead-zones for Gears of War Judgement to a playerâs liking). These plug-ins can then be adjusted or completely modified / re-written by the end-user as well. This opens the doors to a very much never-ending chain of possibilities.
With the announcement of the Donât Starve DLC Reign of Giants hinted to be coming out in August, perhaps a more in-depth look at the base game is needed for those unfamiliar with it. The game, recently released for the PlayStation 4, is also available on Steam for $14.99.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is a third-person action/adventure title from Mercurysteam and sequel to Lords of Shadow and Mirror of Fate. If you havenât played the previous games, or missed out on MoF, donât worry about feeling lost as the game will provide you with a length recap to catch up.
Itâs been a while since weâve seen a South Park licensed video game, and itâs said that the reason is the creators of the hit television comedy series wanted to get a video game developed that really represented and matched the experience of watching the show. I would say that such a decision has led up to a long wait on the gamerâs part and the result is even more pressure to succeed. South Park: The Stick Of Truth seemed to approach us with a gentle stream of marketing, and when the Gameplay was shown players were already believers.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft (based on lore from the Warcraft series) is an electronic trading card game from Blizzard Entertainment (the makers of StarCraft, Diablo, World of Warcraft, and more). The best way I could describe Hearthstone in a few short words would be Cards with RPG rules. Now, I know that may sound vague to many of you but this is the type of game Iâve been waiting years to see done in such an intuitive way. Blizzard has streamlined the entire game to feel natural to any player regardless of background experience, casual, hardcore, or various pre-existing preferences.
Welcome back to our favorite new RealGamerNewz Section, IndieSpotlight, in which we attempt to bring to the surface independently developed video games that are more than worth your attention. A good while back (before the RGN fireworks party about a new Micro-Console being announced and put into hardware beta called the OTON X) we had the chance to speak with some really creative and technically skilled professionals who had put together a game called Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus which is a coming-soon, work-in-progress game you can see at the bottom of this screen in a very early version of the title recorded in Full 1080P High Definition.
